Paul Randall "Randy" Olson passed away on December 21, 2017, in Portland, Oregon. He was born on July 6, 1957, in Portland, to his parents: Floyd and Naomi (Clowdus) Olson. He attended Grant High School, and following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He served in the Navy as a CB Repairman from 1975 until his honorable discharge in 1981.
Following his service in the Navy, Randy worked as an X Ray Machine Repairman. He then went to college to become an electrician. He worked as a Union Electrician for the majority...

Paul Randall "Randy" Olson passed away on December 21, 2017, in Portland, Oregon. He was born on July 6, 1957, in Portland, to his parents: Floyd and Naomi (Clowdus) Olson. He attended Grant High School, and following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He served in the Navy as a CB Repairman from 1975 until his honorable discharge in 1981.
Following his service in the Navy, Randy worked as an X Ray Machine Repairman. He then went to college to become an electrician. He worked as a Union Electrician for the majority of his career, and he took great pride in his work. He will be remembered by his family as a hard worker, and a dedicated father and son.
Randy was an avid sportsman. He coached and played on a softball team, enjoyed watching Blazer and Duck games, golfing and jogging. He ran in the Hood to Coast Marathon several times. He also enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, family vacations with the kids when they were younger, and playing the guitar.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Terry Olson. He is survived by his children, Cortnie Geringer and Hadley Olson; his grandchildren, Kylie, Alison and Charlotte; and his sister, Tami Olson.
Randy will be laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
