Marlene Kay Haldors died on September 11, 2017 in Portland, Oregon at the age of 80. She was born on March 26, 1937 in Portland, Oregon to Otto and Marie (Swerver) Motejl.

Marlene graduated from Sandy High School in 1954. She then attended and graduated from Lewis and Clark College in 1958.

Marlene married Steve Haldors in 1958. Steve passed away in 2010.

Marlene was a member of AAUW, Gresham Branch. She was a blood donor.

Some of Marlene's interests included snow skiing, golfing, playing tennis, bridge player, traveling, sports fan, especially the Portland Trailblazers. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Marlene was a good cook who loved to be a great hostess.

Marlene is survived by her son Bruce Haldors, of Redmond, WA., daughter, Marlys Hutson, of Lake Oswego, OR., brother, Mike Motejl, of Warwick, NY., and her four grandchildren, Ellie Haldors, Hannah Hutson, Joe Hutson and Stacy Haldors.

Donations may be given to Lewis & Clark College in her name.

Memorial service will be on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Lewis & Clark College in the Agnes Flanagan Chapel located at 0615 SW Palatine Hill Road in Portland, Oregon.
