Gary Anton Pallas, 68 of Gresham OR, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. He was born on January 19, 1949 in Wenatchee, Washington to Anton and Alice (Stine) Pallas. He graduated from Wenatchee High School and received his Associate degree from Columbia Christian College. Gary served in the US Army from 1970 to 1976. He married Roxanne Gillan on October 20, 1973 in Milwaukie, Oregon.

Gary worked as a certified nurse assistant for over 30 years including Providence Milwaukie Hospital and Willamette Falls Hospital as well as others. He was a member of...

Gary Anton Pallas, 68 of Gresham OR, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. He was born on January 19, 1949 in Wenatchee, Washington to Anton and Alice (Stine) Pallas. He graduated from Wenatchee High School and received his Associate degree from Columbia Christian College. Gary served in the US Army from 1970 to 1976. He married Roxanne Gillan on October 20, 1973 in Milwaukie, Oregon.

Gary worked as a certified nurse assistant for over 30 years including Providence Milwaukie Hospital and Willamette Falls Hospital as well as others. He was a member of Metro Church of Christ, VFW Post 180 and the American Legion. Gary was active with Cherry Blossom Senior Center and enjoyed card playing, fishing, sport card collecting and spending time with family and friends.

Gary is survived by his wife Roxi Pallas of Gresham OR; daughter Lori Soriano (Doug) of Gresham OR; son Daniel Pallas of Portland OR and grandchildren Gabriel, Nathaniel, Isaac, Jacob, Hannah, Caleb, Aiden, Ethan and Kayleigh.

A viewing for Gary will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell Blvd in Gresham, Oregon with military honors to follow at 2:00pm at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. A Celebration of Gary's Life will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 3:00pm at Metro Church of Christ, 1525 NW Division in Gresham, Oregon.
